The Watchers

The Watchers claim to be the oldest surviving race in the Universe. Because they have survived so long, their technology is significantly more advanced than any other known race. Early in their history, they were explorers and conquerors. Then they transitioned into researchers and became instrumental in developing the human race because of their research interest. Some would say they are content to observe other races voyeuristically. Because of their very advanced technology, they carry significant sway in the galaxy. Their DNA was used to bring early intelligent life to Earth. Modern human DNA is 99.8% identical to the Watchers, partly because they enjoyed having sex with the early humans. Physically, they are slightly shorter and less muscular than humans. Their heads are noticeably larger to accommodate a larger brain, and they use a larger percentage of their brain the most humans do. Watchers have white hair. If you saw a Watcher walking down the street, you would probably not see enough differences to be concerned. The Watchers will play an important role throughout the Utopia Saga.
